As we all know now, Blockbuster didn’t take Netflix up on their pitch and they’re now a case study of what NOT to do during innovation and Netflix is now a…$150 BILLION company.
What NETFLIX did right was they followed the consumer.
They saw where the market was going and consumers preferred “Netflix and chill” in the comfort of their own homes rather than hopping in their car, driving, sort through movies, not find their movie, pay a late fee, and rinse and repeat.
