We have a confession to make…

Last month, Chris and I drove to Palm Springs and locked ourselves in a condo for 4 days!

The reason being…

Picture this…

YOU PULL UP TO A GAS STATION, A GROUP OF MEN COME UP TO YOU, AND START BEATING THE LIVING SH$T OUT OF YOU BECAUSE OF THE COLOR OF YOUR SKIN?

You’re then smashed into the back seat of a cop car and being treated like dirt and taken to the police station and being wrongfully accused.

When I first became a “Fit Pro” aka “Fitness Professional” over a decade ago, I thought I knew it all…SMH

I thought I was an awesome fitness coach (personal trainer and online fitness coach) and I even had the nerve to think I was a savvy businessman…My dear lawd!

I learned quickly that I was a very good fitness coach but a crappy businessman real fast.

I had to rewire my brain to be a “fitness marketer” first and then a “fitness coach.”

3 weeks ago, on my Birthday, I got the most valuable piece of advice I’ve gotten in a long time.

 I had the honor to sit down with Grant Cardone and he said this to me:

I remember when I started hearing about UBER and LYFT, I was so stubborn and didn’t want to download the app.

Part of it was because I didn’t want to be like everyone else talking about it, using it, and following the latest trend.

But it wasn’t until I was stranded one night, I didn’t drive my car, my friends disappeared, it was too late to walk, and I wasn’t about to hitchhike…so I was forced to download the LYFT app, and the driver got me home safe and sound.
